Ten years ago, I set out to do the Walk For Hunger. The person I had walked with in previous years couldn't make this one, so I was in need of a waling partner. While talking about this at a party, Dianne, who I had only just met that evening, chimed in, "I'll do it with you!" A 20 mile walk with someone I barely knew seemed a little intimidating, but we went for it, and had a fantastic time. During that long walk, we chatted and learned all about each other. From that day on, we have seldom gone a day without talking or seeing each other. The past ten years have been filled with countless memories: Road trips, vacations, celebrations, broken hearts, new life, lost life, etc., and through it all we have remained side by side.
And now, I am ELATED to introduce to you her fiance, Ken. It has been such a pleasure watching their relationship develop over the years, and when she announced her engagement, I think I screamed louder than I ever have! These two will be getting married later this summer at The Commanders Mansion. Here are a few photos we took for their engagement session.
