I LOVE elopements!!! Amaya and David had a beautiful, very private ceremony in The Arnold Arboretum last week. I was so honored to be both their photographer AND witness! After the ceremony, we spent some time walking around the Arboretum. What a perfect way to spend an afternoon.

I missed Genevieve by just a few hours the last time I photographed this family. It has been six months since her birth, and here is their beautiful family today.

In our family we celebrate two birthdays for each child. The day they were actually born, and the day they were supposed to be born. Both of our babies were born extremely early, and had to fight very hard to survive. Brooklyn – born at just 24 weeks – had to work especially hard to live. But after 135 days spent in the NICU, she finally was able to come home with us.

Tomorrow is Brooklyn’s due date. We continue to be overwhelmed when we think back to the days after she was born. To see her now you would never know. Happy due date, sweet girl. You are the strongest person I know.

I have been photographing this beautiful family for years, and every time I go back it seems they have a new child! Last time I photographed them they were a family of five. They have since had twin boys, bringing them up to lucky number seven. It was amazing to see how much fun they all have together laughing and playing.
